Requests to cloud server that requires host header

(related to Akamai message from before-- but I have better troubleshooting information). I'm tying to route traffic through stunnel to a "cloud" based-endpoint. That endpoint has a static server name-- test.authorize.net. (This is the dev sandbox for auth.net). But if you do an nslookup on test.authorize.net, you'll get back a different servername and IP, because it's so wonderfully "cloud". Stunnel apparently tries to connect to the nslookup value. Long ago I had a server with a bad network card. Every once in a while it would spew uncontrollable bytes onto the network. If you open a stunnel connection and it does that this could very well be the problem. If it cheap, try changing the network card. If not, you should be able to look in your firewall/router and it will tell you who is sending what bytes to whomever. See if that machine is indeed streaming the bytes in massive quantities. There are a million reasons this can happen (well a few less than a million) - such as maybe a bad library in the FreeBSD or a bad choice in the Makefile - such as doing threads or something in a way your O/S does not like (I use threads=fork or whatever it is, instead of actual threading). You might tinker with some of the options that make the stunnel build and try different ones. Especially if stunnel was compiled on a different version of the O/S - could be differences in bytes in things and who knows what. That is all I can suggest beyond setting the debug level to 7 (I think is highest) and then watching the log file. Hi, I've been using Stunnel for many years without a problem but I just changed my email provider and now my mail client can't send emails. Receiving via POP is still fine, but sending via SMTP is giving the error "SSL_connect: ssl/record/ssl3_record.c:354: error:0A00010B:SSL routines::wrong version number" The old SMTP server was on port 465 whereas the new server (hotmail) is on port 587 so that may be the source of the problem. Good morning guys! I started using stunnel very recently with GLPI to authenticate to Google LDAP, and it is working, but with extreme slowness at Login. Something around 35 seconds. I believe there may be some parameters, adjustments to make. I'm sending the stunnel.conf configuration below, as well as the attached log file(txt). Could you give me a suggestion. Paho connection to stunnel

I have a strange problem connecting from a C++ application using the Paho framework to the stunnel. The certificates are self signed, and MQTT Explorerr hooks up nicely and validates the certificate when fed with the appropriate ca certificate. So, stunnel seems to behave nicely on some cases, others not. The stunnel log shows a SSL_accept: ssl/record/ssl3_record_c:354: errror: 0A00010B:SSL wrong version. All, I recently built a server from scratch in Amazon EC2 using Amazon Linux 2023 which is systemd-based. When having trouble with a client failing to connect to our stunnel-based service, I tried raising the log level: debug=7 and restarted the service. I can't find any indication that the logs are available. There is no /var/log/stunnel directory. Connect multiple clients to one server port

Hi all I was wondering if there is a way to connect multiple stunnel clients running on different machines to the same stunnel server service, also running on a different machine. All the clients must connect to the same server port. I have tried it with my current config but I haven't been able to make it work, is this even possible?? Thanks, Esteban.
