Maybe you should host a bugtracking system and move the bug reporting from the mailing list to it. It should clear things up..
Take a look at www.mantisbt.org ;)

Many times people have written in pointing out problems with stunnel crashing, dumping core, locking up, yet all you can offer is 'never report problems with older versions', 'you have no right to complain', etc etc, and now you have the arrogance to tell us all we have no clue how to report bugs.
- You're hurting me saying "all you can offer is [...]". That's me
that fixed most of the problems reported here. Did you read the ChangeLog recently?
- I don't recall saying that, but yes - you have no right to complain.
I spend a lot of time finding bugs on numerous platforms supported by stunnel. I'm really trying to help. I do have a job and a family that both need my attention. In fact there's an option to have a right to complain: just purchase a support contract.
- I can't agree I'm arrogant. I'm really trying to help you to report
problems effectively. Don't waste my time and time of other 375 stunnel-users subscribers by sending "I didn't attempt to read the manual (upgrade to the latest version, search the mailing list archive), so please explain me" reports.
I get the feeling you are upset because so many of us discover problems with this software.
No, I'm not. I'm just honest. When I think that error reports should be useful I articulate it. If you don't like my policy you can stop using my software.
