[stunnel-users] SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number

I have a POS application (SWIFTLINK) that uses Stunnel to send email on Windows XP. This is the error**************** SSL_connect: 1408F10B: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number ***************** I have searched the Internet and none of the resolutions help.
