there are 2 'save' ftp enhancement: sftp and ftps. While 'sftp' means 'ftp over ssh' stand 'ftps' for 'ftp over ssl'. So stunnel is the wrong tool if you have to use ftps.
I assume you meant s/ftps/sftp/ in that last sentence?
