Solved! It is an Ubuntu specific problem. Solution is in here (last post): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/stunnel4/+bug/1989387 Worked immediately after the proper configuration changes. Almost 1 year of trouble and searches for a stupid OS bug... Nothing wrong with stunnel, nothing wrong with openssl, nothing wrong with my settings... Cheers! Stefano
