Hugo,

You  are trying to connect to port 587 in your localhost address (127.0.0.1). Do you have a TLS smtp enabled service running on that port? You probably don’t. Instead you should have the hostname of ip address of an external SMTP server that listens on port 587. Certainly on your application that I assume you must configure ip address 127.0.0.1 as smtp destination server.
