Did you see the config.log file for more details (As the output says?)
I think the problem is accessing the openssl libraries. I vaguely recall doing something like this; export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/
then ./configure

Hi all,
The problem i have, i found a lot on the internet. Unfortunatly non of the solutions (if there was one) did nog help. When doing ./configure i get the folowing output:
[snip] checking for a BSD-compatible install... auto/install-sh -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes ...
checking for setsid... yes checking for unsigned char... yes checking size of unsigned char... configure: error: cannot compute sizeof (unsigned char), 77 See `config.log' for more details. [/snip]
I installed gstdint.h and linked stdint.h to it. (should be a solution for some persons) gcc -v gives: [snip] Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/3.4.2/specs Configured with: ../configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as --with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls Thread model: posix gcc version 3.4.2 [/snip]
Anyone an Idee?

Didier
