According to http://www.sans.org/reading_room/whitepapers/vpns/stunnel-ssling-internet-se... In addition, Stunnel performance is improved by running it in daemon mode instead of inetd. Running Stunnel in daemon mode provides the following benefits: no SSL initialization necessary with every connection, and SSL session caching. Is this still the case? Running in the foreground you don't get these? Thanks. -Joe Name: Joseph A. Williams Email: joe@joetify.com Blog: http://www.joeandmotorboat.com/ Twitter: http://twitter.com/williamsjoe
