I'm installing stunnel for a second time. I'm using it for Blue Iris on a Windows 10 Pro machine. I'm using stunnel 5.67 on Win64. GUI shows "Configuration successful". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times.
When I run stunnel Service Start I receive a dialog box that says:
stunnel 5.67 on Win64 (not configured) StartService: error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion
Can anyone help?
It would be helpful if you had any log files. I find setting debug to 5 in the configuration file gives useful information without being too noisy.

Solved. However, I can't explain what happened, so apologies for those that would hope to benefit from my experience. I manually closed the open instance of stunnel using Task Manager. I was then able to start the service. Upon subsequent reboots things work fine - this is despite the fact that multiple reboots didn't solve the issue. This is a standard instance of things solving themselves after posting for help - despite the fact that I had worked on it for hours prior.
If it reoccurs, I'll report back.
