Your patched 5.02 works as a service. The official 5.03 does not work as a service.

Today I downloaded the file you sent. I installed 5.03 on the server (replacing 4.35), copied your 5.02 executable over the 5.03 exe.
I then copied the 4.35 conf file into the 5.03 directory and finally I installed and started the service. The service installed and ran, but there was a message on the notification window saying it was not configured.
HOWEVER, I believe that message was wrong because the service works just fine. I was able to send email from the Event log, through the Windows virtual SMTP server and finally on through a gmail account!
I did have to uncheck the service option "allow to interact with desktop" because Server 2008 R2 will not allow a service to interact with the desktop.

I have installed stunnel 5.03 on Windows Server 2008 R2 X64. When I run it as an application it works perfectly. When I install and run the service, it starts but the start notice window, title bar, says Stunnel 5.03 win32 (not configured). It appears that the stunnel service is not reading the stunnel.conf.
If anyone has any suggestions how I can successfully run stunnel as a service, I would be very appreciative.
