Has anyone any information on this? It affects the ability of Thunderbird users (in this case) to use secure communications with IMAP mail servers using TLS/SSL. Please see the bugzillas below. Does anyone remember know why was it disabled, and whether it is safe to reenable (e. g. using the attached patch)?
