I have found a serious bug in stunnel 5.27. The bug results in incomplete (partial) service initialization.
The bugfix 5.28 release is scheduled for tomorrow.

Mich, Repeated tests with stunnel 5.28 beta 2. Compiled with gcc 4.8.5 (32 bit) and against openssl 0.9.8zh, 1.0.0t and 1.0.1q. Tested securing a VNC session from Windows to Linux. Works on my side. You might want to try the attached mingw.mak which also creates the command line version tstunnel.exe. Regards,Jose
