Hello,
I have successfully used stunnel with blat to send e-mails from my gmail
accounts. Getting this to work with my new internet provider "Ziggo" in
The Netherlands seems impossible, despite days spent on the internet
searching for help and trying numerous configurations. Whatever I do,
there is always this message:
SSL_connect: 1408F10B: error:1408F10B:SSL
routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Pieter Verberne
PC: i7
OS: Windows 7 - 64bits
Stunnel version: 4.53
When sending an e-mail from my PC with Thunderbird 2.0 I can
successfully use TLS but not SSL.
My provider says about secure smtp connections on their website:
Outgoing mail server
smtp.ziggo.nl (port number 587)
Use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) / TLS yes
For this server is verification required / identity check yes
